Even in the Lockdown, our pastors ceaselessly worked to make sure that the parishioners didn’t lose touch with the Church. They began live streaming and recording the Eucharist and also recorded daily reflection and made sure that virtual evangelisation continued. Therefore, celebrating their lives and their contribution in deepening our faith was of utmost importance.

On 4th August 2020, a virtual Pastors’ Day was celebrated by the PPC of Our Lady of Grace Church. The Eucharist was celebrated and during the Post Communion, a video was played. This video was a compilation of all the wishes by members of various groups and associations of the parish. The World Apostolate of Fatima offered a spiritual bouquet for their good work in the vineyard of the Lord. The parishioners also presented a card to our beloved Priests.

In response, on behalf of his companions, Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Joe Rodrigues sent the following, “Though the spirit is dampened everywhere due to pandemic and pouring rain yet the flow of your good wishes and prayers remained unabated warming our hearts and thoughts. We really felt, with your love and care, the JOY of our Priesthood, serving you all in the best way that we can, in spite of all our weaknesses and shortcomings. You have touched our hearts. Thank you so much and may God bless you and your families. Love to all.."
